The parent portal
Apply for your child's place, follow their progress through the season, keep their private details safe and decide whether their photo and video can be shown.
01One account covers all your children.
Create your account
Go to the portal
Choose “Parents” under Sign in at the foot of any page, or go to /portal.
Register
Enter your full name, email, phone (so coaches can reach you on a training day) and a password of at least 8 characters.
Sign in next time
Use the same email and password on the portal's sign-in screen. You stay signed in for up to two weeks.
02Five short steps, each checked before you move on.
Apply for a place
1 · Your child
Name, date of birth (squads are organised by age group), your relationship, where they like to play, the squad you'd like, and anything the coaches should know.
2 · Health & emergency
An emergency contact, medical notes and allergies. Only you, your child's coaches and academy staff can ever see this step.
3 · Photo
Optional. The academy checks every photo before it is used anywhere.
4 · Consent
Participation and looking after your child's information are required. Photos and video are optional — you can change your mind later.
5 · Review
Check everything, go back to fix anything, then send.
If you refresh mid-application, only step 1 is kept. Health details are never saved in your browser, so you'll re-enter them.
03Sent → academy review → decision.
Follow your application
See where it stands
Your child's tab shows the three stages and the date of each one reached.
Applications card
The side panel lists every application you've made with its current status.
When accepted
Your child is placed on a squad and their season view replaces the application tracker.
04Everything the academy records about your child.
Follow the season
Switch between children
Each child has a tab across the top. “+ Add a child” starts another application.

Once your child is active, “See their public profile” opens the page scouts and visitors see.
05Medical notes, allergies, emergency contact, date of birth.
Private details
Check them
The “Private to your family” card shows what the academy holds. It is never shown to scouts or on the public site.
Change them
Email the academy at the address on that card and staff will update the record.
06Yours to give and to withdraw, at any time.
Photos & video consent
See the current choice
The “Photos & video” card shows whether it is allowed, and the date you gave or withdrew it.
Withdraw
Choose “Withdraw consent” and confirm. Your child's photo and footage come off the public site and the scout desk straight away — no staff action needed.
Give it again
Use the same card. Photos and clips still need the academy's approval before they appear.
07Venue changes, reminders, news.
Notices from the academy
Read the Notices card
Pinned notices come first. Tap a notice to open it.
Team or academy-wide
Each notice shows whether it is for your child's team or for every family.
